So …. You don’t use logo golf balls to promote your business because you don’t golf?

Share

Possibly you’ve heard of a company who never has red corporate apparel shirts because the marketing manager doesn’t look good in red.

When promoting your business, it’s important to think beyond what appeals to you, as the decision maker.  The company already has you!

Are you trying to get to executive men and women with expendable income as your clients?   They are likely golfers.  Being on the golf course, sponsoring a golf outing and supplying every golfer with a classy divot tool, Bluetooth speaker or set of club covers – of course with your company name and logo – may be your foot in the door.  You can even expand on the marketing possibilities by offering a drawing for a custom golf bag in exchange for the potential customer’s information & possible interest in your product or service.  Make sure your sponsorship fee includes a list of participants so you can follow up with everyone.

Always keep in mind your target market and lean your efforts towards that.  Think about what appeals to your target customer…a younger demographic will react to things very portable and usable with electronics.  Would you target audience be people who spend a lot of time in their vehicles, or are crazy about their cars?  Then build your marketing promotion around a gift that will fit in the car!  that.  When you want to reach young mothers, Primary Source can provide useful logo gifts that they will keep, use & always have your company name & website handy.  How about a bathtub thermometer or customized package of wet wipes?  Or a bandage dispenser they can keep in their car for that little emergency?

Yes, there are times when you are sweeping a wide net.  And there are effective tools for that, as well.  Take that into consideration when determining your budget and distribution plan.

Primary Source will ask you the right questions to pinpoint who your promotion is aimed towards & help you find what will get you remembered.  Set up a time to visit our showroom at 10441 Hickman Road in Urbandale.  Contact us at 515-727-8774 or email Maryanne@Primary SourcePromotion.com.  Remember; don’t think you must give a tool because you’re a handyman service. The importance is to put your name on a product that your potential clients will keep and use, and therefore be reminded of you every day!
